Who we are
The data controller is Robin Laumb (private individual), Norway. Contact: appsupport@laumb.com.
The app
Keycrib collects no personal data and contains no analytics. It never reads, records or stores what you type. Shortcuts are read from the menus of the app you are using, on your Mac, and stay there. The app goes online only to activate and check your license and to look for updates (which you can turn off).
License activation and checks
To count how many Macs use a license, Keycrib sends: the license identifier (a non-secret part of the key), a one-time proof that you hold the key (the key itself is never sent), and an anonymous device code. The device code is a one-way hash of your Mac's hardware ID combined with the license identifier. It cannot be traced back to your Mac, and it is different for every license. We store only that code, the date of activation and the date of the last check, linked to the license. We do not store or ask for your Mac's name, user name, serial number, location or anything about how you use it, and our license database holds no IP addresses. The hosting provider may process IP addresses briefly to deliver the request. The data is used only to count devices (for example '2 of 5') and to let you free a spot, and is deleted when a device is deactivated.

Purchases
When you buy, Creem processes your payment details, name, email address and country as Merchant of Record, under Creem's own privacy policy. We receive your email address and an order reference from Creem.
What we do with your email
We use your email address and order reference only to create and deliver your license and to provide support and refunds. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep license and order records for as long as your license is valid and as long as bookkeeping law requires.
